Nice postcard.. it looks a bit like the 'Hanging Gardens of Roseberry' here..
Does anyone know if the developers of the Gardens were perhaps influenced by Ebenezer Howard and his 1898 plan for the establishment of Garden Cities.. ??
BTW, nice view of the St Ann's Hospital water tower

circa snowy day in 2009, not much has changed... (slightly more cars though)

Amazing how much grander it looks without cars. I like the planting in the front gardens but can't quite work out what they are - are they small trees?

don't tell the estate agents - they'll start calling it "Harringay Garden Suburb"

lovely photos, I lived on the corner above the shops and used to sit on the balcony looking down Roseberry Gardens. My Dad ran an electric cable from our flat so that May, the green grocer stall lady in the alleyway could have lighting. Wonder what health and safety would say today?
