Nice postcard.. it looks a bit like the 'Hanging Gardens of Roseberry' here..
Does anyone know if the developers of the Gardens were perhaps influenced by Ebenezer Howard and his 1898 plan for the establishment of Garden Cities.. ??
BTW, nice view of the St Ann's Hospital water tower

circa snowy day in 2009, not much has changed... (slightly more cars though)

Amazing how much grander it looks without cars. I like the planting in the front gardens but can't quite work out what they are - are they small trees?

don't tell the estate agents - they'll start calling it "Harringay Garden Suburb"

Ohhh how loverlee to see my street in an old pic! I wish we still had those lovley old railings, they look so grand! My house was the very 1st in the street to have Pebble Dash....wish mum hadn't done it, I much prefer the old red brick.
