Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

If anyone's wondering why the path is closed between Wightman Road and Hamden Road, the reason is that Thames Water are modernising the arrangements for getting flotsam out of the river before the water flows into the tunnel.  The old storage sheds where the old equipment was stored have been demolished and removed and a large gantry has been installed  right across the river.  This is what it looks like for my garden:

The work seems to be nearing completion and new ducts are being buried under the path from the Wightman Road gate to carry electricity and communications cables.

I am assured that all will be filled in and made good for pedestrians.

Charming. You must be delighted

Thanks for the update.

What a lovely garden. Sorry to see the view spoiled by that hideous but apparently necessary structure...

... perhaps the path will smell a bit nicer now... lol
