Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

New bird in the garden

Very small light brown bird with very slight chevron markings on the back with a very up pointy tail almost pointing to the sky and loud as hell song call. Any ideas ?

Sounds like a wren - one of my favourite visitors to the garden.

I agree with Liz. At this time of year they can deafen. Never noticed the "chevrons" before but love the description
