New restaurant opening in September

Gosh this is my third attempt now. Expect Hugh has already beaten me to it. This is a place planning to open in September. We were just walking back from CleverMove opening and the owner let us pop in. Haldun was really friendly. He is planning to offer an Anglo-French menu. It is on the corner just down from the railway bridge. 3 new places. Wow! Maybe some of the gentrification north of the bridge is travelling. So proud. Been wanting this since he rented the top floor flat in 1984. The name will be Tramp. image1.JPG

Really beautiful inside , lots of Victorian tiles collected over years.

I went in for a nose the other day as the door was open :D

Looks very cool, and totally different to anything else locally. Quite right on the comparison FPR. I'll keep my fingers crossed for September, though it seems to have been in development for years!

Every inch has been hand crafted by Haldun with materials which he spends every spare minute of his time collecting. It's a real work of passion.

Here are some teasing hints from two years ago. Other than those I've been waiting till the whole place is finished so as not to steal Haldun's thunder. When everything's in place, I'll be doing a full set of photos for him to use on his website etc.
