"Oh what fun these used to cause when the conductor occasionally they`d connect to the wrong wire and the bus would go in the wrong direction. Once when I was on the bus we had 2 conductors as one of them got on the wrong bus "

"Hello Roy. you knew my husband Frank Horne,( known as Frankie). I think it was your son who came to his funeral in August 2021. We lived in quarters at Conway road old fire station for a while, in fact our youngest daughter was born there."

"I lived in Roseberry Gardens on the corner where yes indeed Barbara Windsor also lived. I used to admire the posh cars that used to pick her and Ronnie Knight up, She was a very friendly lady."

Ice Skating Prodigy Four Year Old Beryl Bailey at Harringay Arena

"Oh how I remember many Sunday mornings spent on this ice rink, I lived about a 5minute walk to it. I used to watch the professionals practising and tried so hard to do their actions, those are such lovely memories"

Coliseum Cinema Harringay, Interior 2, 1990's?

"Us 3 kids and our Mum used to meet my Dad outside here on special treats. He used to come straight from work and then we`d go inside. Mum used to take a flask and sandwiches and there we`d have our tea whilst watching the films. Great memories."

Hello Maureen, whereabouts is 44b situated ?

We lived in Harringay Road, behind the old Colly, and all went to Woodlands.  

Do my older Brother's and Sister's names, Brian and Joyce, ring any bells ??

I wasn't born till 1949 so we wouldn't have known each other.
