History of and background to the project

This old cinema site is now occupied by flats with a retail space on the ground floor, which risk being used as yet another betting shop. The campaign to put this space to good use started here, attracted great support and led KFH to allow community use of the space for a short period whilst it is being remarketed. So it's ours for at least the month of December.

What we're planning

We hope to fill the space with community uses - please step forward and volunteer your help, your ideas etc.

How we are getting on

There are a few of us who've joined the mailing list and are posting events here, and adding to the calendar.

What we need

We need offers of chairs, catering, good ideas, advice, people to turn up at each event, people to post ideas and suggestions. Many of you posted on this website - you made it happen. We need your ideas and inspiration to walk the talk. Please, get involved!

Harringay Christmas Fayre at The Coliseum

A week long Christmas Art and Crafts fayre, perfect for finding unique one-off Christmas presents.

Included will be original prints, photographs, paintings and sculpture, mirrors, handmade cards and much more all made by local artist/craft folk.

Avoid the manic streets of London and browse/shop in a relaxed environment that's right on your door step!
